Founded in 1953 and having developed over 3900 different custom profile extrusions, Northland Plastics has over 60 years experience designing, developing and processing profile extrusions. We are proficient in the following processes and welcome the opportunity to work with your organization to solve your extrusion requirements.
Northland has extensive experience in fabricating thermoplastic extrusions. Our secondary fabrication department is capable of the following value added offline operations for those situations where Inline fabrication is either not possible or practical (due to lower volumes). Feel free to contact us to review your requirements.
Extrusions can be produced out of a myriad of colors and Northland offers a variety of color options to meet your needs. If we can’t find a suitable color from our inventory of over 200 colors we can develop one to specifically match your requirements. Colors ranging from earth tones to fluorescents, opaque, translucent and metallic. All colors are closely monitored with a spectrophotometer to ensure strict color control to your color standard.
We also offer specialty additives to enhance impact strength and ultraviolet protection for interior and exterior applications. Fillers, flame retardants, anti-static, slip/anti slip agents, antifungal and other additives available. Contact us to solve your custom color and additive requirements.
Superior quality and customer satisfaction has been and always will be priority one at Northland Plastics. Driven by continuous improvement, customer focus and teamwork, our goal is to set the standard for custom profile extrusion as it pertains to quality. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and our Total Quality Management system as documented in our Quality Manual provides the framework for implementing exceptional quality and supports our goal of consistently meeting or exceeding our customers requirements. Our goal of zero defects drives every aspect of our organization.
Northland extrudes a wide variety of materials that meet different industry specifications such as FDA & NSF approved compounds as well as UL94 HB & VO flame rated and ultra violet light (UV) stable materials. Other materials are available to meet various specifications as well as environmentally friendly green materials.
